Disney
Yesterday, as I was contemplating how to solve the world’s problems, I found myself staring at the framed photos on the wall behind my computer screen. I realized that 7 of the 10 photos were from DisneyWorld. When I was in grade school we had to report on a famous person. Guess who I chose? Yep, Walt Disney. I still have that report.
Disney World is one of my favorite places of wonder. They have created an environment where one can truly suspend reality, at least for a moment. I love the attention to detail, the imagination, the cleanliness, the surprises, the joy. We stayed on Disney property several times with our kids and we took two Disney Caribbean cruises with our kids. Each trip was just perfect. I’ve been back several times as an adult without kids and had just as much fun. Writing this reminds me, I might be overdue for another Disney vacation. (I am not affiliated with Disney in any way, just love Disney’s style.)
One of the things I love most about Disney is the iconic style – they don’t always do the most “hip” thing, but they always choose to do things that will remain timeless and evoke emotions. Thanks for sharing!
